Sunspots cause temperature changes

in the postwar years, why was there a concomitant interval of about

The record of temperature change correlates many times better with
solar activity. Scientists have known this for a very long time, but
not knowing what mechanism could be behind it, put this observation

Some studies have shown that cosmic ray influx correlates very well
with thick, low level, sunlight-reflecting clouds.(these types of
clouds cool the earth) eg, when solar activity increases, less of
these thick, low-level clouds form, more sunlight gets through and
the earth's surface warms *naturally*:
